How to renegotiate with pwc for more fixed
Fidelity Investments I joined FIL on 08th August 2022 and hence was eligible for appraisal but even after a good feedback, I was told that there is no increment in salary as well as bonus because of "Too Soon To Decide" rating. And this is being followed not just in our team but in whole FIL. This is the first time I am hearing such kind of thing and didn't found any thing like this on "HR Hub". So, if anyone of you know about this or have received similar gyan from Manager, please share your experience. Fidelity In

It would depend on how much I respected the company, their treatment of me throughout the process, and whether I knew other people who referred me in. If I didn’t respect them, wasn’t treated well, and wasn’t referred, it wouldn’t be much. Maybe $10k.

I’m probably the wrong person to ask.
I turned down an offer for what I thought was my dream job because the company gave me no time to say yes and refused to talk with me about negotiating a simple clarification in the offer letter. It didn’t speak well to me that they were strong arming for a position I’d stay in for at least 3 years. Then I turned down an offer the following week from a tech company for a 32% higher paying role because I didn’t like the career trajectory.
Money isn’t a big motivator for me so much as decency and development. It’s not that money isn’t important, it’s that it’s no longer the deciding factor.
I’d turn down $180k at D for $160 at Netflix.
