Hi! I am asking for a friend in tax - “I’ve been in the AWM tax practice for 7 years (4.5 yrs at pwc and 2.5 at private) and am looking to switch to EY’s national tax team (passthrough group). How do they conduct an interview and how technical can it be? Also any general thoughts/ experiences on boomeranging back to big 4 after private? EY PwC

Hi fishes, I have resigned 3 days after the bonus communication day. As soon as i resigned, my bonus as well as new increment got revoked without any notification. So when i checked they said you should not be on NP before actual payment of bonus & first salary with new increment. I can understand for increment but bonus is paid for last year performance. Is it a wise decision to leave Deloitte USI Strategy practice for Accenture strategy in Capability Network when I am due for promotion to Engagement Manager?
I am getting 40% hike from Accenture CN when my promotional hike in Deloitte is expected from 25% to 30% (my guess).
What should I do? Renegotiate / Stay / Switch.

12.5-17 gross. Anything in between. Depends on your current comp and skills
ELRP of 9 lakhs over 4 years (1.5 at 1year, 1.5 year at 2nd year, 2.5 at 3, 3.5 at 4 year). There is lock in of 8 months after you receive each payout. So basically you have to stay 1 years 8 months to take 1.5 lakh or else you have to return
Other variable: JB + Relocation Bonus (75k) + 10% bonus + 66K food allowance + 18k broadband allowance
Just callout for the gross (taki tum join karne ka baad lateral ke against bias leke crib karo), majority laterals karte hain before doing their due research
- If you join at 13/14, then YOY hike will be similar to homegrown ZSers BOACs
- If you join at 16 or above, your YOY hikes will be capped (max expect 10-12% in that case).
Reason: Internal Parity.
The next hierarchical layer C starts at 20ish. So they cant give you same 15-20% hike and cross C layer salary without you actually getting promoted to C
