Having an issue with direct 401k rollover. I had an after tax portion with old plan and my new 401k plan now does not accept after tax rollovers. The check has already been issued to a state street bank & trust FBO [my name] and I can’t reissue to a new bank. Any tips on deposit this check to an IRA? The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs.
