Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

Whoever doesn’t have CSP should get one, new offer is 80k with first AF waived in branch. Plus you the existing cardholder can refer to get additional bonus. Depending on your travel loyalty, could also consider another Platinum for 100k or Gold for 70k but you will pay AF.
Thanks, BCG!
And still somewhat TBD. Referral can only be done online and annual fee waiver is only in branch.
I'd personally wait until March 21 to see if referrals increase to the 80K offer. If so, I'd use A Player 2 referral. And if not, I'd do an in-branch app.
Consider opening multiple new cards for the sign up bonuses, given that y'all will be spending a good chunk of money. Exception is Amex since I've never gotten anyone in India to accept it
Also badhaai ho!
Consider if your wedding vendors in india will take any of the above - hard to find smaller vendors outside of the US willing to take Amex + cash is king out there
Consider exploring business cards with no foreign transaction fees (happy to provide a referral to Chase Ink business cards or Amex business cards).
Also look at Doctor of Credits best signup offers page. You could look at the WF World Propel, US Bank Altitude Reserve, BoA Premium Rewards, etc.
