I’ll always help if I can. I think it goes a long way - plus it helps develop skills
Start documenting the help you give out with dates, names, and what you did, and how long it took you to do it. You can basically put it on your Outlook calendar and categorize as "Helping Others". See how much time you're investing in this and then note who of them helps you out when you ask for help. Then start to push back gently with, "sorry I can't help this time. A little swamped." See how they react. That will give you the data you need to adjust where you need to, i.e. be more selective of when you help others who are not willing to help you when you ask.
I almost always help someone out if they need a favor, but I'm fortunate as my coworkers aren't too needy that way. If they ask for a favor it's usually something fast and simple and it doesn't really cost me any time or effort. It probably comes down to training people that you'll help if it's fast and simple, but you don't have time to get pulled into anything more involved.
Somewhat regularly, maybe 2-3 times a week. I'm always happy to help out if I've got the time, and they do the same for me. Makes me really appreciate the team I'm working with because I've worked at companies where that's very much not been the case.

I generally try to be helpful
I document a lot of what I do on a regular basis, including dates and names and I submit my notes into Workday once per quarter, then I have 1:1 meetings with my manger and he can see the highlights of what I have accomplished in the previous quarter.
My co-workers are not as needer as some of the vendors and auditors that I deal with each week/month.
