EY doesn’t have a hard policy for being at EY vs client office. Its service line dependent, and most of them just have broad guidelines of 2-3 days per week in person with your team wherever it makes most sense or less frequently if not in same location and travel is budget restricted. For example, audit teams are almost entirely staffed locally by teams in the same city as client so those teams meet 2-3 days per week. My audit team for example meets 2 days at client site and 1 day in ey office per week (with flexibility since large team, it’s not a hard requirement) throughout the year, and then during busy season we’ll do 3 days client site (MTTh), 2 days EY office (WSat), and 1 day remote (F), with Sunday as a hard rest day.
Someone in tech consulting though may be working on a client on the opposite side of the country for 1.5 years and they will have a planned travel schedule to be at the client site, and apart from that never have to go to any office. It mostly depends on how willing the client is to pay for travel expenses. I’ve seen scheduled travel for 1 whole week per month, every other week, multiple weeks in a row including weekend stays during critical phases - just depends on the project.
Just during busy season, depending on the project timeline, doesn’t last very long
EY office once every 2 weeks. Client office once a week.
Depends on teams. My team is very client focused, and it does not add value to go to EY offices because most team members are traveling cities to be at client offices

Depends on where you are at and what team. I average about once a year.
Maybe once or twice a year…
