I recently found out that I'm not getting the inflation correction increase that the company promised. The initial statement said that everyone under a certain salary band will be getting the full correction.

According to them because I received a high salary increase in the beginning of the year, I'm not eligible for the inflation correction. However, I know that some other colleagues have received even higher increases and my salary still belongs in their lower salary band. Is this normal?

I got an offer for $21/hour and a 10k sign on bonus as a CST in Charlotte, NC with 2.5 years of experience. I am currently serving my notice period at PwC AC. They had given out a retention bonus in march with the clause to return it in full if an employee leaves the firm any time before march 2023. Tax was deducted when the bonus was paid out but as per the HR the tax will not be adjusted when I pay back the entire amount. Has anyone faced a similar kind of issue and is there a way to claim tax rebate in ITR ?
