Look up their attorneys on your state e-filing website to see case outcomes. Also look at Lexis/Westlaw to see if they’ve been sued and for what. Word of mouth does wonders too.

I would also recomnend doing a search on Glassdoor. Usually that is where employees will go to leave a bad review (or good) and spilll the team. I always feel like I am getting pretty accurate feedback reading what I can find on there.

Hi everyone - I'm contemplating an offer from a large PI firm. I'm a little more than halfway through completing my 2nd year of practice, and I'm currently at a small firm with a low salary that's just no longer cutting it.

The offer from the large firm is for a pre-suit position, base salary of $100K - is this salary pretty standard for this kind of position?

Any insight is appreciated, thank you!!

Any experience working @ Chad Jones law?
I’m currently discontent with my income.
(3rd year. Salary=80k and no performance incentive. I brought in $1.4mm AFTER partners claimed over half of fees on my big cases.)
I see CJL offers an incentive+ base but I’m curious about that structure.
Any good or bad firm culture to speak of?
Is it impossible to actually earn a respectable incentive bonus?
Am I going to have some partner come cut me out of any cases where I might actually make a solid fee?
