No tips but the only way is a calorie deficit which is easier to control by reducing your food intake.
I think it’s the type of food that needs to be put down—extreme calorie deficits put your body into starvation mode causing it to hold on to fat. Get rid of high fat Or processed food and eat lean meats and veggies. If you stick to 20-25g of fat a day the weight will come off
The classic knowledge on fat loss is that you need a 3,500 calorie deficit to lose 1 lbs of fat. This is actually an UNDERestimate of how big your calorie deficit needs to be, but let’s go with that.
You want to lose 5 lbs a week. That’s 17,500 calorie deficit a week (and, again, realistically it’s higher than that), which is a 2,500 calorie deficit a day.
Many people don’t even burn 2,500 calories a day. As in, you could starve for 3 weeks and still not hit that deficit.
If you’re trying to lose fat (not just water weight and muscle) and not crash your body, I’d say: no, it’s not possible to lose 15 lbs in 3 weeks.

I’m glad you said this. People suggesting workouts have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s not healthy and not really possible either.
Adderall
You can lose 15 lbs of water weight in a week. Remove sodium. Drink 2 gallons of water for 2 days. Drink 1 gallon for 1 day. Then half then wiarter and then none. You’ll owe it all out. You’ll feel like death. Then sit in hot bathtub water to lose any more extra. But voila. Once you have sat you’ll put it all back on. This is weight cut method. 15 lbs in 3 weeks for true weight loss is unreasonable at your weight imo. Maybe 5 lbs safely achievable?
Made a $1500 bet with someone that he couldn’t go from 220->175 in 2 months. Now he’s 170 (after 3 months, but he won the bet) and I’m down the equivalent a MacBook Pro.
At that weight, it’s a lot easier to lose the lbs so it should be possible. Follow the direction people have been giving, low carb veggies, lean meats, stay away from breads, pasta, rice, and sugar. Lots of water!! Daily exercise!!!!
Whole 30, I lost 15 pounds the first time I did it. I partnered it with regular exercise
Whole 30. Not a weight loss thing, but i lost 22 pounds in one month and kept the weight off since. Doable, and whole 30 is healthy.
Eat dinner only, go for 5+ mi run every day. It’s doable, I lost 12lb in 2 weeks like this (and worse…). Also has the advantage of a simple execution, no convoluted rules or diets. 1 meal a day, and run.
Cut off your arm. Adult human arm is generally around 8-20 lbs.
You haven’t seen my arms then, I’m jacked
I have definitely lost 10 in a month before by getting subscription diet meals before (like jenny Craig or a fancier version). It’s not the tastiest life but self control was not my best friend at the time. I don’t know how to lose 20 without losing it completely.
Master cleanse. It’s an insane crash diet, but dammit does it work.
If it’s just a wedding do Keto. The reason being is you’ll drop glycogen stores as well as water retention and “shrink” for the wedding and clothes. This is what I do for weddings because I gained around 15 pounds of muscle in 3 years but my clothes don’t fit unless I’m “flat.”
Afterwards you’ll gain some back but it’ll be your water retention + glycogen stores for your muscles and actually adapt to a manageable caloric deficit.
Trying to fit into a precovid suit? 😂
Yessir! Haha
As a former collegiate wrestler, this is possible to do this for a target date. However, you would likely only be able to maintain the loss for about a day since you would need to do water manipulation.
This does not take into account how this will mess with you mentally and likely put you in a worse spot that you are previously. This is something that can lead to yo-yo dieting and disordered eating patterns.
It had take me a long time to get my mental state in a good place with 16 years of wrestling and horrible binge purge weight-loss patterns.
TL;DR take it slow for long term, sustainable results. Focus on a a manageable calorie deficit.

I only wrestled through HS and wasn’t a fan- I know college programs are even more brutal. Never been in better shape than the wrestling days in my life though. I miss that part (but not the weight cutting and the permanent shoulder damage lol)
Message me, I own a nutrition coaching company
Yes of course you work w “high level” athletes. Bwahahaha
Lol what is the time limit for?? Couldn’t you just lose 15 lbs in 3 month or something?
Haha I could, but as mentioned above have a wedding and few other events coming up quick and nothing I own fits (either i buy new clothes and continue down this sedentary way of life) or lose weight quick, get back in my old clothes, keep the motivation going, and then continue down the healthy active lifestyle (at least that's the plan 😂)

Fasting from sunrise to sunset
Time for part 2 😅
Burn 2500 a day and eat 1200 a day. You’ll burn about a pound a day but will hit a wall at some point as your body is going to be sitting on the edge of starvation.
I’ve been fasting intermittently and cutting out alcohol and running 10+ miles a week and I lost 10-15 pounds in about 2 months. Diet could’ve been better for sure, but the skipping meals honestly helps a lot and I really feel in control of my appetite now
Fasting. I’ve done it before, but I wouldn’t recommend anybody do a long period of fasting without prior experience though. Maybe start with a three day fast and see how you feel. Do your own research and good luck
