Generally, in the best relationships, both partners feel like their partner is smarter/more attractive/nicer/etc
My wife has expressed this about me in the past and I think she is crazy for thinking that because I am nothing that special. She is smarter and better looking than me but lacks confidence. She has told me that her lack of confidence and insecurities is what makes her think like that. I just try to build up her confidence a little bit every day and it has definitely made a difference. She is slowly learning how to stand up for herself.
Yep, definitely me. Thankfully I recognized it as a lack of self-confidence before it caused too much damage, but the first 6 months were really hard and it could have easily destroyed my relationship.
My partner is definitely a lot “more” of things than I am, like raw intelligence, being social, objectively attractive features, etc...but I have a higher EQ and capacity for empathy, am more creative, and a better teammate/leader for the environment I’m in (I work in tech).

Interesting. I definitely don’t think my partner is way out of my league. They are just quite a bit smarter, and I admire them for it, but a small piece of me wonders if they would prefer someone more on their level. But we are compatible overall, in so many ways
