How well known is ARPA-E (part of the department of energy) among folks in the energy industry? Recently received an offer to join them for the summer internship. I am a MBA student. Another offer is with MBB in London office where I aim to eventually specialized in the energy practice.

Does anyone have any experience or know of someone who went from FDD to PE operations (think Cerberus COAC). Would be great to hear any insights or thoughts on the jump and transition.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?
