Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?
What would you choose & why?

I brew my own at home and take a thermos to work
A good office coffee setup is seriously underrated. Once you get used to it, it's hard to go back. ☕
We have a water bottle filler at with that I fill my own brewer with. I’m was fortunate enough to inherit a mini fridge from my predecessor so I can keep a couple bottles of creamers for me and my team.

Many companies don't have good free coffee. One company that I worked for had a business type Keurig machine with a good selection of different types of coffee. It was a great perk. I have worked for many companies that don't supply free coffee either. Carrying a thermos is always a good option but might be inconvenient if you don't drive to work,
I was usually the first or second person in the office and managed to figure out how to get the coffee to where it wasn’t too strong for certain flavors… but after I was off from work and came back… people would say that the coffee wasn’t the same unless I had brewed it. LOL
