Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

It definitely operates like a start up within a big company, and everyone is analytics and AI focused, obviously. Really sharp people, though I think we’re hiring so aggressively now that some under-performers are seeping in.
Id love to chat with you! I just joined a few ago

So tbh it doesn’t matter really, it’s just a group your classified in. It’s meant for more technical heavy folks with strategy skills
been trying to get out of it bc of the type of work, but honestly everyone is so humble, warm, and nice in the Applied Intelligence team in the South.

There is a lot of breadth in the group. We are working hard to have our people work on only the tasks that require their knowledge and experience. Sometimes we still have to do ETL or simple analytics.
I'm surrounded by people real smart but grounded. Some of our clients ask for ML just because it sounds cool when the problem is actually clustering or straightforward attribution.
Some of the work is extremely complex, especially especially in the pharma, CS, marketing, and visual processing spaces.
The Data Engineering and Architecture teams are doing great mesh and microservices migration design work. But we still have clients only partially migrated to the cloud and needing basic hybrid work.
All in all, the WLB balance is better than most of S&C, the team is really smart and supportive, and our leadership is committed to keeping everyone trained up, working better opportunities and focused on hiring smart people with confidence but no egos.
I just joined early October, trying to get settled in Applied Intelligence in Product in the US. I’d love to network and get more immersed with the org. Send me DMs and let’s chat!
