What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

#3 partner in the US, #4 globally, and very little staff aug in my experience. Highly invested in industries and individual cloud expertise, and more collaborative (I think) than others. I’m a director in our global Salesforce practice focused on a specific industry, happy to chat more if you’re interested in joining us!

"Boutique" is more about focus than size, but Slalom is both big in size and broad in focus. I wouldn't call them a boutique in the way 7Summits was, who focused primarily on Experience Cloud, or Simplus who focused on CPQ.
Slaloms SF practice is ranked higher than Deloitte but lower than Accenture as far as overall certifications.
I heard that it is a chill place, but with a lot of staff aug projects
People just chill there from what I’ve seen. As people pointed out mostly staff augmentation.
The takes above are interesting. I was at Slalom for four years and was never in a staff aug role. I was however at a larger office, so maybe smaller regions sell staff aug more frequently.
That aside, I probably wouldn’t recommend it for most folks. There are places in one’s career where it might make sense. No “travel” (except when leadership asked you to 🙄) but there were multiple projects I had to commute for several hours per day, four days a week.

In terms of “boutique” firms they’re very good. I would prefer to be there vs big 4.
Not top of the charts pay wise but it’s competitive. I don’t think their PTO policy is very good but maybe it’s been updated recently.
