I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. If I move to another job later on (private or federal) this 8 hours of AWOL will show up?

FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year. Is the learning curve steep, or should I push to come in as SM? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering what kind of contractual or other barriers I might face if I apply for one of the big 4 while working on a project with them in my current company.
I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?
