When's the article about awful women CEO's coming out? Carly, Meg, Marissa...

like

True

like

This is BS over generalizing a continuously changing trend in our corporate culture.

like

A lot of companies put female CEOs in place when the company is tanking. So yes, you could say bad female CEOs exist, but there are also other factors at play. Plenty of awful male CEOs exist, too.

like

Meg is mixed. Carly was terrible. Marissa is still open ended and she came into an uphill challenge.

GM is another tough spot

I am surprised this made it into HBR. It's like pseudo-science meets a brain washed politico. His smug and click-whir thinking seems to be a lot more about judging others than anything else. He doesn't offer any real solutions and has a shallow examination of root causes. We need to figure out how to increase the number of women in leadership and make the best possible leaders we can. This fool will not be helping us.

Never said they didn't.

I think if you disagree with the general idea that over confidence is often confused for leadership, then you are probably a Trump supporter..

10 YOE in strategy/ MGMT consulting. Got an AWS "company fit" fit but not a fit for the position I interviewed for. The recruiter said they are going to keep looking for openings that would be a better fit (non-tech). Has anyone received an offer in this situation, and if so how long did it take?

Hi there! Interviewing w/Amazon for a non-tech role (Associate Category Manager aka Associate Buyer) and was asked what my salary requirements are for base+bonus+equity. Can anyone share insight on what Amazonians make in this role. I have 4 YOE and glassdoor is not very helpful.

Any feedback is appreciated 🙏 Amazon

I recently bought my 1st home in TX. I want to get into real estate and eventually own/rent out multiple homes. Are there any good recommendations/tips on books/articles/websites that others have used to get started?

I've read about HELOC and cash out refinance to get a 2nd home but articles are so scattered that it gets confusing which is better in terms of tax benefits and immediate costs, etc. Anything others have found helpful that summarized how to get started would be great!
