Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

- Set aside space for athletic shoes, use the hotel gyms
- If you don’t have access to a hotel gym, go on runs or invest in a push-up board
- Buy healthy snacks and meals (depending on your travel situation) when you arrive so you’re not always relying on eating out
- Learn to say no to some post-work events
- Consider a credit card with lounge access so you can enjoy the process a little more if you’re really always on the go
- Explore the city by yourself once in a while
Good luck!
I also would choose places that had a kitchen and that helped tremendously
I traveled M-R every week without exception for the first four years out of undergrad in my early 20s and here are some tips and tricks I picked up to make it feel better:
- I opted for a credit card that gave status on my airline and tripled my likelihood of upgrading
- I switched to residence inns or other hotels with a kitchen so I could get groceries on day 1 and cook dinner instead of going out all the time
- Said no to team events, and limited the nights out with the team to one per week (unless there was a special event)
- Traveled with a candle that reminded me of my home scent, made the hotel smell less sterile and more like home
- Brought my fire stick and Nintendo switch so I could play my games and watch my shows
- Forced myself to the gym every morning for 20 minutes
- Always took all of the soaps and shampoos (and a toothbrush/toothpaste/razor given from the front desk) each week and put it in a ziplock to hand out to someone in need the weekend I went back home (I live in an HCOL city with a homeless crisis); this gave me a mission I felt was important and drove me to go without complaint
- when I got home, I didn’t push myself to go out. I’d bring my friends to me and host watch parties at my place or just chill and play Mario kart or something to spend as much time at ease in my home as possible
Prioritize working out daily and consistent sleep habits
Are you traveling to the same place everytime?
Nope. I've revisited a few locations, which is nice because you get into the flow of the city, but for the most part it's different each time.
What firm are you at?
