I have 7 YOE and applied for a position that is L4. I feel as if I’m overqualified for the position, but the Recruiter told me that when they say L4, they are actually looking for someone with 6+ years of experience. Is this true? I feel like I should be looking at L5 with my experience

I trained on .net and then after I supported .net application. After 3 years I got to work on ssrs reports. We build reports from scratch in ssrs, then I worked on qlik view application. Attended training on qlik sense. My question is for which openings/certificate I have to look .net (I have only support knowledge) or reporting tools like ssrs, qlik view ? I am struggling to choose with the way to upgrade myself.

When ever I try to build a strategy, they (founders) swamp me with blablabla stories and not a single action plan. Is this the usual at startups? Also,no real company culture. At all. No HR. I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

It’s a ~40 person company and I’ve received the the number of options, most recent valuation, and current strike price. I was also given a dollar range that I can “imagine” the share price would be (I think they were trying to help me do the math without it giving away too much)?
