I am an Account Executive and work in the programmatic team as part of a wider agency, but I’m not sure this is where I want to be. I want something more collaborative, creative, and less to do with numbers and budgets, and I think this could be Brand Strategy. How might I transition into a role in this area?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. I have chronic health issues and I’m severely depressed. I can’t even get myself to work anymore. If I don’t quit, I’m in serious danger of being fired. I feel that I need to just quit and take time off to get better but feel that it will be a stain on my career. I’m a pretty junior lawyer. Any advice.
