Hi there! Interviewing w/Amazon for a non-tech role (Associate Category Manager aka Associate Buyer) and was asked what my salary requirements are for base+bonus+equity. Can anyone share insight on what Amazonians make in this role. I have 4 YOE and glassdoor is not very helpful.
Any feedback is appreciated 🙏 Amazon

I would also consider the type of work you do and the level of impact you have in your current org as well. HR Coordinator could be very admin heavy or could be treated more like a Generalist. The size of the company, how large the HR team is and how many employees you support could impact salary too.
I would check Glassdoor for that information.
I think there is some missing factors here - you need to also consider: your industry, what employer you’re at, where your employer stacks up competitively within the market and how do you compare to other team members - both in your current role and the generalist role.
Maybe 50k a year, maybe 75k. What about bonuses? Does your employer offer other perks that are better than competitors? E.g full paid benefits, more vacation, more generous leaves, etc.
While you sound experienced, your true value is found when you interview - the market will let you know real quick.
As far as a raise or promotion. Talk to your manager about succession management, promotion, raises, mentorship and do all of this BEFORE the review cycle. This set expectations on both sides, working towards the same goals and helpful you grow toward your goals.
