I am an incoming Staff 1 at EY and will be part of the 360 Careers program. While I previously interned in Tax, I have a strong interest in Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS). I understand that the 360 program allows for rotations across different service lines, and I’m eager to explore opportunities within the CCaSS team.
If my local office does not have a CCaSS department, would there be an option to temporarily relocate or work with another office to gain experience in that ar

While I would always encourage you to follow your passion, not sure how much work is going on or what the opportunities are in CCaSS… It never really “took off” and in the current environment (political and economic) I don’t believe clients are spending much in that space…

You can always ask. I suspect they are more of a national practice so travelling to work on the engagements might not be a big deal to them. 360 careers is pretty new and previous iterations of the idea did not result in a lot of cross training. So you'll probably have to be persistent and do your own networking with CCaSS leaders to get staffed on an engagement if that is what you really want to make happen. Even if you do that, they need to have the work to keep their own staff busy before they take on a rotator which they may or may not have, but you'll learn from networking. Audit and Tech Risk (especially if you can get on a SOC report or other assurance type engagement) are going to be a little more adjacent to CCaSS work than Tax I would think. So getting that experience might be easier and keep opportunities open later in your career.

I have just recently accepted a position as Director of Compliance at a Fin-Tech company here in Naples, FL.. My previous 17 YOE were strictly in the Financial industry. Does anyone know what the average salary is for this position? I have a sinking feeling that I accepted the role too quickly without comparing salaries. The position only pays $50k/year. That seems low to me.
