(40% of basic) or (HRA given) or (Rent paid - 10% of basic) from these smaller one is considered to claim HRA. I belongs to 3rd one resulting 0 benefit.
I am planning to add 3 lakh for HRA and give my uncle's PAN as he is a farmer. But the house owner has many houses and gets 5+lakhs as rent. So he shows that in his ITR.
So there there is a mismatch. Would that be fine?
