I have a question regarding taxation of joining bonus.

I recieved a joining bonus of 1 lakh from my previous employer in last fiscal year which was taxed.
I resigned from the organisation before completing 1 year... Which will be deducted from my last month salary.
How does taxation works in this case.

HELP! Company wants me to move to the US for a Remote role - Is this reasonable? Hi, I'm moving through the stages for a Remote US role as a Canadian candidate. They mentioned if I were to be offered, expectation is I'd move to the US. I find this odd as the role is Remote but guess it's legal purposes. Good thing is, this comp also has a Canandian office BUT they said bringing me on through the Canadian office is not smth they do.

Any Bridge Engineers/Structural Engineers in here? I got my PE this year and have 5 YOE in TX + an MS. What sort of raise would you expect for receiving your PE working in a consulting firm? I am EOR on a number of structures in development, I manage EITs and Drafters (within projects; I'm not a supervisor), and am doing a lot in general. Curious what’s a fair salary in MA?
