I am currently seeking a senior-level role in accounting. I am serving my notice period at Crowe LLP and have over 4.5 years of experience. I led a team of 2-4 contractors from the Philippines and helped train interns from the Chicago office, while performing day-to-day accounting activities and reporting for multiple clients—both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Career dev advice needed. Being offered a promotion (would be reporting to my current skip and managing/growing a team). The role is global subsidiary management/governance. But the work does not appeal to me, I’ve been doing some of it and it’s so much admin and people management. I’m not practicing law at all.
