I dont make demands because when I signed up for the job (especially when I was in event marketing) I knew long hours were part of the gig and thats what a salary worker is supposed to do.
I had a good dynamic with my boss though where I would ask for time off after the conference and it was granted. Demanding and entitlement attitudes won't take you far at all though.

They should let you take some of your time back, but I wouldn’t ask for it personally.
Free pizza and a t-shirt doesn’t magically turn work into team bonding. If they need you there working 14-hour days over a weekend, there should absolutely be either extra pay or comp time involved. Otherwise it just builds resentment long term.
I think you are just saying if you can ask for an allowance. I would not demand anything in the Climate with a social media role. That is one not enough people know the value of, but you can say something like, “ok to take off early Friday all the late nights this week put me behind on some personal stuff.”
