I am feeling low in confidence at the moment.

My digital marketing career started promisingly in the first 3 years. Unfortunately, the last 2 years haven't been the best. I worked for 2 different founder-led companies. neither experience was particularly positive. I resigned from my latest position in March.

I am applying for jobs. Ive had some applications that have reached the last stage but sadly, they said im overqualifed. It's not easy to get a job in marketing in this market i feel.

But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.

I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? I prepped the doc accordingly, but instead of wanting to discuss it, he said I have 4 weeks to “turn things around” - without giving any new info on what I’ve done wrong - esp given I wrote my goals based on this same feedback from last week??
