Park City
Neither, tbh.
Vail has better skiing if you are talented, but both are overpriced and filled with people trying to get a bougie Instagram off, rather than actual athletes.
If you want that “ski town” feeling in a less abrasive way, consider Telluride or Steamboat.
Yes to Telluride! Although steamboat has a lot like too.
Breck ?
Skiied both, I’d say Vail in a landslide. Back bowls are absolutely amazing, I’ll never forget my first time getting back there. Park City skiing I found to be ‘eh.’ In terms of surrounding area you can ski Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird from Park City, and the nightlife is decent. From Vail you could ski Copper, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breck, and maybe Aspen (kind of a haul). Vail’s nightlife is pretty ‘eh.’ Overall I’d go with Vail in a landslide but to each their own!
Agree with Manager 1. It depends on what type of experience you’re looking for. There are lots of great resorts in CO and UT that are more lowkey. I will say if you’re going out west you really can’t go wrong
Vail
PC is flat in the middle. Mostly groomed. Great if you or anyone in your party is learning!
