Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.

Don’t do it. Assume you’re an an actuary and role is is CA. You’ll have lower standards of living if moving from tier 2 city.
Google is only worth it if you are an engineer, data scientist, or product manager, and maybe biz ops. Specialist roles, product marketing, etc. don't count and are not valued despite the marketing and feel good job ads. Everything else will leave you feeling poor in California

What title/level? Salary growth is more tied to promotions, shouldn’t expect major yearly raises while staying lateral. If you’re closer to entry-level, you should be able to move up pretty quickly if you’re a strong performer.
Bonuses can be quite large depending on if you’re going into a sales or product role. Also consider your equity package, as that’s actually quite a large source of compensation, particularly for software engineers
My understanding is that outside of stock appreciation you can expect a ~10% bump each year at most.
They are targeting me for a high level 4 or low level 5 (first level of management). They just asked me to think about salary expectations and get back to them. So any guidance?

I can’t say I have specific insight in your case, but do have some numbers from Facebook and Microsoft offers at the senior L4, team contributor, SWE role.
$165 base, $25 sign on, $100 stock annually, and and an expectation of 15% yearly bonus. This is over 2 years old though, may have changed. Also a very different role, obviously.
Negotiations can get aggressive if you have another offer in hand from a FAANG + MS/LinkedIn/Uber tier company.
