I am looking for mid-senior renewable energy law and policy position for someone unlicensed to practice law. I was laid off today from my job while on personal leave due to Stop Work Orders impacting my job. If you have job links, personally hiring, or any other combination I would appreciate it all below. I want to continue working from home and I don’t care what time zone the job is located. I am looking to continue to earn more than $110k base.

tbh it sounds like you are being too picky for your specs, especially in this market, if you are already unemployed id apply broadly

If there were no practical obstacles whatsoever, what area(s) of law OTHER than your current practice area would you want to explore, and why?

I’ve been so specialized for so long I’m not even sure how to answer this question for myself. Once upon a time I was somewhat interested in tax but I’m worried that’s where fun goes to die. I kinda dig admin law, although that’s cheating a bit because I work with a federal agency.

I'm in a litigation, about 9 months in. Is it normal that I spend majority of my time making bundles for my partners (printing, binding, moving docs in a different order whenever there are new documents or he wants to add stuff) reviewing documents and making tables (e.g. dates, which documents are from where), and the only legal work is like notices of admission, list of documents, the occasional research? I'm so bored and I want to quit but I don't know if I have unrealistic expectations.

Bit of a niche topic: I’ve been in TS/SCI processing for a Science/Tech/Weapons analyst position with the CIA for 3 yrs since I finished grad school in chemistry, but CIA positions are sort of set it and forget it since they can take so long. If I get through processing and go to the CIA for some time, do you think would I be accepted back into patent law later on?
