My primary concern is about the strict 9-5 office presence. What happens if I had an appointment (1-2 hrs) one of the days. Is there flexibility to "come late/leave early/step out", or thats a issue and HR escalation and OCC expects employees to take day off. Similarly, what if I off for 2 days, will they expect me to come to office the remaining 3 days?

I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
