Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

I work in tech, make what I used to consider good money, and still have a tough time. I rent, can’t afford to buy. Im a single individual, though, unpartnered.
Not outside of finance, executive, pharma, tech executive, or legal.
My wife and I do. My base is $310. Wife’s is $180. We live in Milton, though (i.e., not proper Boston).
@D1 that feels like a steal. We have 1 kid and his daycare is $40k a year!
This city is crazy expensive, and I think has finally reached NYC levels for VHCOL (not to mention we're about to be only major US city that still makes renters pay broker's fees bc New York is getting rid of it)
At some point there's going to be a talent drain if salaries don't increase dramatically or if the city doesn't get it's act together and build some housing and make it a friendly city to live in
Oh no kidding! The cost of living in this city often makes me wonder if it is worth it
My company pays the same if you are in Boston, NYC, or SF. Not really sure what you mean? Is your company paying different rates depending on city? That seems horribly unfair.
