It sounds like road biking then? As in not going for the mountain biking that Moab has around it? The parks themselves are great for cycling around on the roads and there are some unpaved roads to explore in arches/canyonlands as well that are really neat and a good way to escape some of the crowds. There’s plenty of pullouts and usually most of the viewing areas have some sort of wooden fence constructed to lock a bike to, if not a metal one/bike rack.
Moab is phenomenal too in terms of all the roads and cycling trails along the river, through town, to arches from town etc. so short answer, you’re in for a great biking time! Just bring lots of water since covid has hampered some of the water options around as far as refills go.
And if you have time and are interested, would absolutely recommend mountain biking around Moab. You can rent a bike pretty decently priced (Poison Spider is the shop I always used before I bought one) and there’s shuttle services that’ll take you around to really cool spots where you can ride and then ultimately just ride all the way back into town. My favorite (and a lot of people’s) is the Whole Enchilada if it’s open!
I was thinking road bike just cause that is what I more familiar with! I would love to to mountain biking but I’d probably need to look into a guide...maybe I’ll see if that offers anything!
