I am working as a Storage and Backup Administrator for quite sometime now & was recently interviewing candidates for storage admin role in our org. I've interviewed about 20-30 candidates so far with their experiences ranging from 3-15 yrs.

I have noticed a pattern where people don't answer the basic storage questions be it SAN/NAS troubleshooting, they don't understand efficiency concepts nor have an idea on the storage fundamentas.

What are your experiences in interviews? Any thoughts?
