I am working in big Australian bank as RPA Developer- Blueprism in Bnagalore. I want to move from Blueprism as it has less jobs now and want to move to gurugram/noida/chandigarh. I am confused which thing to learn Power Platform or Appian? which has more scope in north side? I want to join a product based company, as my current company (bank) is obviously product based.

Is anyone currently pursuing the CIA certification or recently passed? I am having trouble passing part 2. Any advice is welcomed. I passed part 1 over a year ago and haven’t been able to accomplish the next hurdle.

Any advice for a young engineer trying to land their very first job out of college?

How do I leave audit? At times I feel trapped thinking to myself there is no way life is suppose to be like this. How do you find the right opportunity? Everyone says network. But, how do I network? Do I just reach out to my peers asking if they’re hiring? I would love some stories on how others ended up leaving and used their network to find a job they enjoyed doing.

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? How do you feel about you are not progressing anymore and seeing other people progressing in their career? I have no intention to make partner, but still feel a bit stuck not doing that much.

Working as a Senior Accountant at Vanguard with my CPA; 3 YOE, Greater Philadelphia area. Took this job to give accounting one more try and while I don’t regret it I’m bored. Anything in finance more challenging/less box-checking? People have recommended public but I’m not interested in audit/tax or travel.

Currently in audit and want to switch to transaction services. I’m a senior now and an offer from accounting advisory just came in. I tried applying to TAS but no returns from it. Will it be easier to switch to TAS from accounting advisory?

Is it worth going for AM?

See a lot of people slamming their “big firm” experience and wanting to move on from it. I’ve got 2YOE but not at a big firm and can’t help feeing I’m missing out on something (name brand, skills, network etc). Is it better not to chase it and go somewhere else (tech / startups etc) rather than trying to get in at entry level ?

Which would you rather? Internal at MBB or client-facing at Big 4/ACN?

I would like to learn more about development and real estate. Can anyone recommend any books or courses that you think are informative. Eventually I would like to own a few apartment buildings, but I know there is a lot I need to learn 1st. Any advice appreciated.

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email.
