Mention that you blacked out, or that you got laid off? Definitely don't need to mention that you blacked out...
Remember - you have option c: don’t disclose unless asked. If you are asked why you are seeking the position, give your “interviewer answer” - you were not asked why you were let go. If you are asked, "what makes you want to leave D”, say you were laid off and give your “but I’m interested in this company/position because…” and then your interview answer. Good luck and if you get an offer, remember me. I could be in your shoes soon…
As someone who was let go last year and recently got a new job: don't disclose that you were let go. Even if you have a gap in your resume, don't mention it because a lot of interviewers don't even look at the dates on your resume (one of them was surprised when I mentioned it and did a double-take on my resume). Not a single one has asked me about my gap. Even during background checks, my last firm did not snitch to my new company that I was let go.
Bottom line: do not mention it unless asked. If you were talking about disclosing that you blacked out-- still probably no unless you think you'll need some sort of accommodation for a medical condition.
Why would you ever disclose that?? Absolutely not.
I'm not understanding what the situation is but neither is needed to be mentioned unless directly asked 😅
Your medical is private, unless it interferes with the position you're applying for, it's really your business. I'm more concerned of a medical situation you should consult a physician. My daughter has POTS/Dysautonomia and when oxygen is deprived it causes this. If you ever had long Covid it also can factor. Perhaps it's a one time fluke, but I'd certainly get checked out, while you still have insurance coverage. Good luck in your search. Regardless, I'm sure all will be fine, better safe than sorry.
