I completed my Master's in December 2023 and have been actively seeking a job in the Data Science field since then. Unfortunately, I haven't received any interview calls and mostly getting rejection. I have a resume gap due to moving to the USA and facing visa restrictions that prevented me from working. I had 5 years of professional experience in the same field, and I pursued my Masters to strengthen my resume. Now I have permanent residency but still not getting any calls. What to do?

Hi all, was hoping for clarity on offers from FANG/Tier 2 tech I received recently. Base pay is still within range of 130-150K, but equity components have dropped dramatically. For reference, for similar positions, I was receiving grants of 150K - 200K over 4 years for data analyst positions (4-5 YOE) in Aug’21-Feb’22. For personal reasons, I did not accept these offers. Now the equity grants are coming in like 50-70K over 4 years. Is this market wide for non SWE/PM roles due to stock market?
