I currently work as a Senior H&S Reporting Analyst and run multiple reports utilizing excel and access database. However I am currently transferring these reports out of access into tableau. I am not very familiar with tableau but am interested in learning. This is hard with my current employer as most don't know how to utilize access. I see a few different jobs I am interested in at salesforce but am worried I do not have the tableau experience. Is it still worth applying to be trained in it?

I came across multiple posts in which the pay is very much less compared to the industry standard ( on seeing their YOE)

But digging a bit deeper, we could see the lack of skill sets, not up to the market trend with latest technologies. Basically not updating ourselves with new stuffs happening around.

Your YOE nowadays doesn't matter much but skills matters. Keep upgrading your skills if you want to stick to the market trends and enjoy the boom.

FDD/TAS Senior > Restructuring (Rx) analyst or associate (FAS/Banking) - Has anyone seen it done before? Would starting from Valuation instead of FDD be a better stepping stone to Rx banking. Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time.
