McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

Why do you want McK over the others post MBA? Also looks like you’re already at BCG…
Yes it’s very possible
You should ask the SYs in your program who’ve gone through it. But generally land a good summer internship (T2 consulting firm, F500), keep your contacts warm (send an update to your McK contacts on where you’re headed for the summer), interviews are in Sept/Oct depending on office so you have to start casing. Less networking, shorter turnaround vs. FY

Yes; you can re-recruit your 2nd year, but FT recruiting is *much* harder than summer internship recruiting. For reference, at my T15, out of the 20+ people who tried for McK, only one managed to convert it into a full-time offer.
Same experience here. You can reapply, process is almost identical but fewer people will have offers in the end. Good luck. If you failed on the virtual assessments, you probably won’t get an interview. Good luck !
