A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Yes! And I usually feel that my presence there is an indication of the forced need to change but not a desired part of the culture they’ve curated.
YES. Any time I ignored that feeling it was to my own detriment.
The way I had this thought during an interview process and ignored it only to have myself and two other women of color quit the company that same year…can’t do the Ruby Bridges thing anymore. I’m tired
Absolutely! It’s great feedback to the company to be transparent.
It’s also about what you want, do you want to blaze a path and be the diversity whisperer.
Some do…. Some people don’t want the challenge which is understandable.
No such thing as a Diversity Whisperer without getting a Target on your back. Plus with the current political climate and the war on DE&I; safer to STFU and just focus on “the work”.
Not in an interview but I know what you mean.
Had that happen at my very 1st offsite. 20-25 MF people in the room and I was the only one
Yes, and the one time I ignored that little voice and accepted the position, it turned out to be the worst 6 months of my life. Now, I always look for other Black women. If I don't see any, especially in leadership, I'm out. I am too tired to be the first. I am not trying to run the diversity program. I don't want be the representative of all Black people and answer all their stupid question and comments. If they don't understand by now that diversity improves the bottom line, then I can't teach them.
Def been there
