I got duped by HashedIn by Deloitte which was my first offer.
HashedIn by Deloitte was acquired by Deloitte USI about an year ago.

HashedIn gave me offer for Product owner role and after 15 days (when I had already resigned) HR called to tell that I got PO role due to HR's mistake and panel had recommended me for Scrum Master role.
I had applied only for PO role and have the interview invites with subject as Interview for PO role.

I used to be a big fan of Jetblue(nyc based), but lately I feel like the airline is just as bad as the low cost ones. Old aircrafts, canceled and delayed flights. I can see why it’s important for JetBlue to have this merger for their relevance in this field.

Chief Concern: "Best of both worlds" in engineering can mean compromises and complications, which can mean non-resilient/unreliable. But I'm no gearhead, so not sure if I'm making massive incorrect assumptions.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
