Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. 13 yr outside Sales Experience in the B2B space, multiple roles/companies. Current quota is $15MCAD, I usually do not bad in quota but lately has shifted to rewarding medicorciy and "pooling" some numbers countrywide which i really dont like.
Current comp is $85k Base and $115 OTE with a ceiling of $150k CAD/$120k US. Feel it's too little for my experience and they are taking perks away by the day.

I am a mid level litigation associate at a midsized firm in NYC, which means working big law hrs, without big law pay. I have observed that many big brand companies (Siemens, BOSCH, etc) flex their brand value in job market and try to hire talent at comparatively lesser compensation than comparatively smaller companies (ITC Infotech, L&T, etc) who are willing to dish out a bit more more.

I believe this could be because the big brands get a lot of applications than the lesser known ones who also have more scope to grow. Is this right observation and conclusion?

Amdocs : 7 lpa fixed
TCS : 7.5 lpa fixed
I want to try for counter offer. Any ideas on how should I approach for counter.

Ps. I'm sure that TCS would not be paying more than that. Because after negotiating alot they agreed for 7.5 lpa.
