I got offers from wipro, Mindtree, hexaware at Hyd with almost the same packages but hexaware is giving WFH (not permanent) while Wipro, Mindtree were asking for 3 days a week. The stress of this job ruined my life.

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Why provide redlines against the original draft instead of the last turn when sending drafts to opposite counsel?! This profession makes no sense.

Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine.
