LinkedIn seems to be a great source for in-house jobs.
seconding, this is how I got in house
There’s one email list Service that I liked. Goinhouse dot com. They have another one for big law.
Indeed and LinkedIn right now
Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor
Not sure how successful it is for non entry level positions, but my law school maintained an online portal with postings. Lots of entry level positions and that’s what I was looking for, but I would see some posting looking for years of experience.
Simply cannot beat LinkedIn. I love the easy apply feature. I have gotten my last two jobs via LinkedIn. Search for “counsel” and away you go.
LinkedIn, Indeed and Dice Careers are the 3 job boards that I use. Outside of that I look at my competitors career site and see what they have open.
Talking to friends about their firms
Seconding LinkedIn, also my law school maintains an alumni Facebook page where posts for firms seeking laterals occasionally pop up.
Everywhere and make sure you have an updated profile and resume posted! LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, work with recruiters, and also check professional organizations for your practice area. Association of Corporate Counsel’s website and, for me, I check American Health Law Association since I am in the health law space.
