As long as you have debts, such as an education loan, your financial requirements may vary.
However, as a fresher, a package of ₹550K per annum is a good amount to start with. For a single individual, it’s a fair and more than a decent starting point.
That said, financial needs differ from person to person based on their circumstances.
Being a fresher, it’s important to understand that negotiating a higher package might not always be possible.
You may need to accept the offer as a stepping stone, much like receiving a "prasaadam," while actively looking for organizations which pays more but you cant get counter offers like an experienced does(negotiating like- I have 550k package give me 700k wont be possible)
For context, when I started in 2018, my initial salary was just ₹15,000 per month
And I dont think bangalore is expensive for a fresher /single persons and there is no city with IT which have less expenses. Stop blaming the cities, its all same.
So yes, ₹550K is more than a solid foundation to begin your professional journey. Focus on growth, and the rest will follow.
