I would say go ahead and send along the materials... but be aware that if you haven't heard back after a couple of weeks you likely didn't get the job. However, if they are still considering candidates, or the person to whom they offered the job declines, you might get lucky.
Yea I hope so! Thank you!
I wouldn't be worried about marketing yourself as a worthy applicant. No shame.
No shame it is. Thanks!
Just don't make it weird. You'll be fine and it will get you back into their thoughts, which is never a bad thing.
Thanks! I’ll def do it :)
Just echoing everyone else at this point but there's no shame in reaching out to the hiring manager. It sounds like they might've moved forward with someone else but I think making that move regardless is good experience for you. Good luck!
Couldn't hurt
I say go for it, no harm in selling yourself!
Will do! Thank you for your encouragement :)
Why not? I think it's a great opportunity to make a strong, positive impression and maybe position yourself in front of the other candidates. Even if they've already decided to go with someone else, this might put you at the top of their list for the next time an opening comes up.
I just sent the email :) fingers crossed!
