🙄 thanks for your POV, SAE!!!!!
Life is too short! Why so serious 🤔
😂😂😂 exclamations and emojis are the only way 😂😂😂!!!! @OP, try to have more fun 🤩 🧜🏽♀️ 💃🏽 🪩
😱😱😱😱!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...
Relax buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not your pal, buddy 🇨🇦
Just remember that you spent a portion of your limited time on this planet complaining about exclamation points in emails
!!!!!!!!!!!...you knew this would happen!!!!!!!!
Why stop exclamation points? Ban everything but letters from emails!
Who hurt you
One of my clients literally only responds to me if I include emojis in my emails. I know correlation does not equal causation, but 🤷🏽♀️
I get it lol. I've heard coworkers end client calls with "slay" and a piece of me died
I typically use exclamation points. It's just advertising and we're all stressed. I have clients who include gifs in emails. I think it helps to lighten the day and gives a little human touch. Although the AI tech we're trailing did occasionally pop in emojis (insert scared face here(
I'm a woman and the reality is: the second I started using exclamation points and emoji people stopped calling me bossy, and they now say that I am just good at my job 🙃
Have you noticed these come more from female co-workers/ partners maybe?
Facts!!
Lighten up. Be happy you’re getting kind responses.
I wish everyone would just loosen up their butthole a little bit. We are making ads people…have fun.
😑🕳️
Per my last email!!!!
I totally disagree. Emojis and exclamation points in moderation are the new way of “speaking”. They infuse warmth and personality into emails where you would be lacking intonation from a spoken conversation. I can see how they can get overdone. But when done in moderation, it’s a great way to build relationships with colleagues and clients and let some personality shine.
Coworker kept saying they were doing stuff they weren’t on a project and I got an email from a manager about why it wasn’t done. Forwarded all my follow ups that got no response to him and signed it “Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss i Guess”
I had a Director suggest I used them in my emails.I thought it was weird.
Thank you for attending my Ted talk
