TCS is providing onsite to everyone whoever has resigned. Otherwise if you would have asked for the onsite earlier they would have read the criteria to become eligible for the onsite, and getting a onsite was impossible.
They are just bluffing you. Don't believe, Otherwise you would regret.

Ask for 40% retention hike and onsite otherwise leave...
How much offer u have in had with other company? It depends on the % of hike u have, they may give ypto 30% and on-site.. else only on-site with 10%. Try to negotiate with hike and on-site same time.
If you are interested for onsite ..ask tcs to initiate your visa .. without coming to a conclusion don't revoke your resignation
It's is always a risky bet to stay back for onsite. Although you have 9+ experience hence you might have a chance to get it but once you come back again your salary will be low. If you are planning to settled down then take this risk else switch you will earn and save more after switch
