When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

I think in general agency life is perceived as a good way to jump start your career because you get so much diverse experience early on but it can also be a lot less work-life balance and in general the people working at agencies are a bit younger without established boundaries. I started at an agency and I stayed for 8 years til I moved in house and I could never go back to agency life now.
Hi! I started in agency and was in agency world for about ~5 years. Now I’m in house, and have been for about ~3 years. I always say agency taught me what PR is and the important of soft skills: how to organize when I’m working on 3+ accounts, how to build relationships with clients, etc. It definitely isn’t boring and you get to work across the agency to see what others are doing (social/influencer, designers, client experience etc). But as the other poster said, you can burn out quickly. I’ve noticed that in this market, employers want candidates with both in house and agency experience. I definitely recommend trying it out so you can try different sectors as well (healthcare, CPG, retail, etc). It can really only help you!
Agencies teach you how to manipulate data more than anything else. It’s a lot of cookie cutter stuff at agencies. There’s a reason why there’s such a high turnover at those places.
