I have a question regarding NatWest’s process. Before releasing the offer letter, they asked me to submit my current company’s offer letter and the last 3 months’ salary slips. Since these documents were requested prior to the offer, can I assume that the background verification is already completed and proceed with resigning from my current company?

Or would it be better to confirm the background verification status with HR before putting in my papers?

Please guide me on this.

I have my annual review coming up and want to hear thoughts on what a reasonable raise expectation is. I report to the COO and currently make $94k + up to 10% annual bonus based on company hitting their revenue goal + I have 3000 stock options. Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Saw a posting for a PwC Manager (5th year) salary for $132.2 in Chicago. Does that seem right or is that high?

I work in commercial real estate retail leasing. Current employer just increased base to $100k with avg. 20-35% bonus/commissions combined. Received offer to exclusively work for a tenant and help them open new locations. $115k base 10% bonus & also stock options. Remote work, lots of driving, similar job title. Reading posts here it seems as engineers in the US get's atleast $100k, people with 4-5 YOE in SWE seems to have ~$250K. Working in Sweden my base pay is $50k, bonus per year of $5k and I usually have to work overtime making my salary in total at a maximum $70k. I have 4 YOE and also work as SWE. Sweden has a insanely high tax rate (employee tax is 33% below 56k, 50% over $56k). There's also employers tax, and highly taxed fuels, food, clothes, which ends up in total paying around in 80% tax.

Sorry to say this but I have seen only Indians who work extra hours. What's even funny is that the upper management laugh at foreigners who work exactly 8hours.

I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.
