I have a situation and would love some input. I am currently a Sr Auditor within the IA team of a client of a big 4 firm. I’m exploring new opportunities, and a role at this same big 4 firm opened up, and I applied. There is interest on both sides; I am interviewing soon. I work very closely with the big 4 firm as I am in IA, but nobody on the engagement team helped me find this job. Has anyone here done something like this before? I don’t want to cause issues for the firm, or my current company

What is the comp ceiling long term look like for staying in cloud consulting technical career compare to moving into SWE?

I have been selected at citi but HR is unable to release offer letter. This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. HR is checking my SP ID or GP ID which was allocated to me in the past but I don't recall it is. HR is checking this with US team and this process is taking time. If they cannot extract it due to some reason, will they release my offer letter? Please clarify this.

PWC offered 23+2JB+2(assuming bonus at 10%) for 5yoe. And I'm getting 27-28 from other service based companies. However I'm confused if I should go higher fixed ctc or brand name, ie PWC. Thoughts?

Unfortunately was dragged into an audit despite the fact I don’t work in audit. Why does audit RM say yeah your hours will be 50 hours/week when you’ll have to work way more to do the audit. Seems very dumb - if you have work do it, if not don’t work…

Suggestions on how to improve at work? I feel like everyone knows more than me and feeling like I’ve been left behind. Where did all of this knowledge come from??
